Intensive Therapy: The Benefits

Intensive Therapy® is a powerful, effective therapeutic tool that works at a deep level over a short period of time (days and weeks instead of months or years).

Therapy to Suit Your Circumstances

Not everyone can commit to weekly face-to-face therapy sessions, so Intensive Therapy can enable people to engage in therapy over a short period of time, for example during annual leave, the summer holidays (e.g. for teachers and students) or during periods of leave from the armed forces.

Faster, Deeper Progress

Many people report that Intensive Therapy makes them more aware of the profound shift that occurs during effective work. Progress is often faster and experienced at a very deep level, rippling out to improve multiple area of clients’ lives simultaneously.

With Intensive Therapy it becomes more difficult to avoid challenging issues, particularly with a focused therapist who cuts to the chase. This is why Intensive Therapy requires courage and commitment – but the rewards are life-changing.

Cost-effective Therapy

Intensive Therapy is almost always more cost-effective than regular therapy that lasts months or even years. Although weekly sessions will usually get you there in the end, Intensive Therapy is designed to greatly speed up your journey to wellness, saving you money in the long run.

Intensive Therapy and Autism

In 2011, researchers from the University of Missouri-Columbia1 concluded that Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) sufferers, which include people with autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, enjoyed better outcomes as a result of intensive therapy in childhood than those who had not undergone intensive therapy.
